I just got this tattoo today, May 30th. Alex Werder at Star Tattoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I’ve always had a strong connection with blue jay birds, and have recently gotten over my fear of birds. The birds breaking off of the side represent breaking away from the bigger part of life and starting your own path, away from the past. It took about an hour to complete. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and I recommend Alex and all his fellow artists down at Star Tattoo next time you’re in Albuquerque!
This is my 10th tattoo, a harlequin girl art piece on my thigh artwork by Dan Chase, tattoo done by the amazing Nick Malasto in Cincinnati, OH. This took about 6.5 hours. I absolutely love it. It couldnt look more like that actual art piece itself.
A friend of mine needed skin to practice on for her internship at a tattoo shop in the city, she did an amazing job. This was her 6th tattoo and it is incredibly detailed and clean. I could not be happier. Quote is from The Lord of the Rings written by JRR Tolkien. Done at Doc Yager Tattoo Co by Colleen Kaster in Rochester, ny.
Tommy of KT Dragon (www.ktdragon.com) in San Jose, CA did this back piece for me!
It took me over two years to figure out who I wanted to do this piece for me and since I worked here during this time, I decided that he was the one!
Many people think I’m too young to know about the boombox but I’m an old soul and love all types of music, especially hip hop! There is a lot of meaning behind this tattoo from cultural influences, what I love, and family ties.
I KNOW over 50 hours has been put into this and I loved every minute of it.
Hope you guys love it as much as I do! XOXO Apanduh Bear
My third ink! This is my baby panda Bo <3 after I had it done, my boy told me that it looks so asian. Even thou I didn’t think of that before, but yeah, I suppose it sums up my affection for Asia ;D Done at Super 7 Tattoo by Silvia, Lithuania :3
